Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will oversee multiple value streams, including key manufacturing and facilities areas. This role is accountable for delivering operational objectives across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People Development within the machining, assembly, and facilities environment. The Operations Manager will lead a team of supervisors and maintenance personnel and collaborate with support functions to drive the plant's Lean Transformation goals.

What You Will Do:
Create and sustain a safe work environment by developing leaders who proactively identify, address, and prevent safety risks.
Build leadership capability through coaching, regular feedback, individualized development plans, and targeted assignments aligned to organizational needs.
Establish and maintain effective staffing plans by developing leaders who align talent deployment with business and operational objectives.
Hold leaders accountable to commitments by reinforcing ownership, standard work adherence, MDI consistency, and operational metrics.
Develop leaders who drive in-process quality by identifying defects, leading root-cause problem solving, and reducing cost of poor quality while improving customer outcomes.
Ensure operational performance by developing leaders who lead daily Gemba walks and apply Lean principles to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Drive continuous improvement by developing leaders who lead A3s, Kaizen events, and sustain visual management and 5S standards.
Act as a proactive change agent by developing leaders who partner cross-functionally and model Allegion values in daily operations.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's Degree, Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Required 5+ Years of Manufacturing Experience, 7+ years of Leadership Experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams of hourly and salaried employees, driving operational excellence and team engagement.
Experience in applying Kaizen/PDCA approaches while utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools to drive improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and develop others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear and timely communication with organizational team members regarding delivery constraints and execution strategies.
Experience in high-energy, dynamic workplaces, balancing operational demands and strategic execution.
