Registered Nurse Clinical Operations Manager Home Health

Job Description:

This position works in collaboration with other area leaders to provide oversight of daily activities to a designated geographic area and discipline, Home Health or Hospice, within Homecare and Hospice. This person ensures optimal outcomes with caregiver engagement and the fundamentals of extraordinary care - patient experience, quality, safety, access, stewardship.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, with rotating on-call

Locations: St. George & Cedar City (occasional travel)

What You'll Do

Lead clinical operations for Home Health teams in St. George and Cedar City.

Support caregivers through coaching, performance oversight, and quality improvement.

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations.

Oversee accurate, timely clinical documentation.

Partner across disciplines to improve patient flow and care coordination.

Drive accreditation readiness and continuous improvement initiatives.

Analyze operational data to enhance quality and efficiency.

Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Rate: Competitive salary based on experience.

Comprehensive Benefits Package: Includes insurance options, fitness discounts, paid time off, 401(k) with employer contribution, and tuition assistance.

Incentives: Up to $400 annual caregiver incentive and $500 referral bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.

Current state license in his/her discipline.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.

Current driver's license, insured and reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.

Three years of clinical experience.

Demonstrated communication skills in recommending quality, customer service, and safety improvement measures.

Demonstrated knowledge of mandatory, Joint Commission, state and federal regulations.

Experience in developing and promoting programs and/or initiatives in a related setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in healthcare

Doctorate in healthcare

Experience in a Home Care setting

Two years of supervision experience

Experience in managing healthcare-related business operation, including budgeting, management, billing process, compliance, quality, and accreditation

Experience teaching or mentoring

Ongoing need for caregiver to see and read information, labels, and monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess patient needs.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require caregiver to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, etc.

In some cases (such as when required to provide patient care) will have the same physical requirements as those of direct patient care clinician.

May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$50.97 - $78.69
