Physician Assistant Part-Time/PRN

We are looking for a Physician Assistant to fill a hybrid Primary Care/Urgent Care position with a goal to establish and grow a primary care practice. Qualified candidates will demonstrate clinical competency by utilizing medical techniques and principles independently to offer care to a diverse set of patients. This is a full-time role, requiring a daily commute to Hendersonville, and you will be further incentivized based on productivity and the level of high-quality care. Clinic hours are 8 am - 6 pm, 6 days a week (Closed on Sundays), with providers working 4 ten-hour shifts per week.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, professional and eager to help Complete Health Partners change the way care is delivered and able to give that level of care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and patient with others and also be required to follow health and safety guidelines consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of care at Complete Health Partners.

Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events Document patients’ medical information and maintains patient charts Communicate regularly with other healthcare providers to ensure that all aspects of care are being addressed Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintaining patient files Ensure compliance with legal issues including but not limited to patient confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations Exhibit a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Adjust to fluctuating peaks in patient flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining quality Active Tennessee Physician Assistant License One to three years’ experience in Urgent Care, ER, or Workers Comp setting or equivalent experience Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Seeks to build relationships and serve others; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Asks for and offers help when needed Varies writing style to meet business needs; Reads and interprets documents Planning/Organizing Ability - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Reacts well under pressure; Quality Focus - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality
