Summary/Objective:
The Warehouse Associate plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all
items received from suppliers and production shops, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so
inventory (parts and supplies) is located and distributed to proper departments in a safe, effective and
efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. The position is
essential to maintaining the supply chain of critical materials, tools, and equipment for processing and
maintenance operations. Oversees the receiving, storage, and distribution of production and service
parts materials; monitors and supervises supply coordination as prescribed by management.

Receiving and Stocking:
? Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of materials, chemicals, and equipment into the receiving department; ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensure receiving reports accurately report material received. Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
? Safely and efficiently store inventory in designated areas, following proper handling protocols for hazardous materials (as required) and maintaining item accessibility.
? Verify packing slips against purchase orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
? Monitor the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry. Oversee the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
? Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
? Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for the accuracy of the locator, receiving reporting, movement and storage of material, and transfers to service parts.
Cathode Shipping:
? Manage daily outgoing shipments using designated shipping software, ensuring accurate, timely delivery and proper packaging to prevent damage and optimize costs.
? Coordinate with freight carriers for pickups, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues while preparing and verifying all shipping documentation, including labels, invoices, and customs paperwork.
? Collaborate with customer service to address shipping-related issues, maintain organized records, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, particularly for hazardous or sensitive materials.
Inventory Management:
? Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using inventory management systems.
? Conduct routine cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
? Identify low-stock items and report replenishment needs to supervisors.
? Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supply chain, management, and supervisors.
? Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
? Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
Order Fulfillment and Distribution:
? Pick, pack, and deliver supplies and tools to operational departments, including milling, flotation, leach operations, and SX-EW plant.
? Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of requests for critical spare parts or consumables to prevent production delays.
Equipment and Vehicle Operation:
? Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and transport materials.
? Monitor the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring secure transport of items.
Safety and Compliance:
? Follow all MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) and company-specific safety protocols, including handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
? Ensure the warehouse complies with safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
? Report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards promptly.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
? Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure a safe, clean and organized warehouse and work environment, free of obstructions.
? Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and vehicles as needed.
? Dispose of expired or damaged materials following company guidelines and regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
? Work closely with supply chain, maintenance, and operations teams to anticipate and meet material needs.
? Communicate delays, shortages, or other supply chain issues to leadership, management and supervisors.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment within a warehouse. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and will require meeting with colleagues in other offices and work locations. Warehouse temperatures are variable and often uncontrolled unless the product being stored requires maintenance of a specific temperature. Conditions in the warehouse can be dangerous, as tasks involve the operation of heavy machinery and transporting of large product loads. Tasks are physically demanding, requiring lifting, standing, and carrying. Often with products weighing up to 75 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7am-4pm. Overtime will be required occasionally based on business need.
Travel:
Local on-site travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
High school Diploma or GED.
Between 2 to 4+ years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory management software.
Valid driver's license.
Proven ability to operate a forklift.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Knowledge of barcode technology and electronic data interchange.
Certified to operate forklifts and other machinery used for moving and transporting products, or willingness to obtain certification.
B.S. or B.A. degree in business management, industrial management or related field, or a combination
of education and experience equivalent to such.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Authorized to work in the United States.
