Mechanical Engineer

Reliability Engineer/Maintenance Engineer

$75,000 - $130,000 Depending on experience

A Maintenance Engineer is needed to support manufacturing operations in a clean, regulated environment. This role combines hands-on mechanical maintenance with engineering-level problem solving, ownership, and decision-making. The Maintenance Engineer will lead complex troubleshooting, drive equipment reliability, and provide technical direction that allows leadership to step away from daily maintenance decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader for mechanical systems, repairs, and reliability decisions

Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

Guide and support maintenance technicians with best practices and problem-solving

Perform mechanical maintenance including equipment rebuilds, alignments, installations, and upgrades

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation

Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance strategies

Identify failure trends and implement long-term reliability improvements

Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and support spare parts strategy

Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred but not required

5+ years of industrial maintenance, millwright, or maintenance engineering experience

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and engineering mindset

Experience with PM/PdM programs and equipment reliability initiatives
