Huntington's Finance organization is continuing its transformation journey to become a people first, digitally enabled function supporting the strategic goals of the bank. As part of that journey, Huntington is looking for a seasoned, hands-on Finance Axiom Manager.
Finance Axiom Manager (FAM) will drive the overall strategy, design, policies, transformation, and standardization of the production of automated Axiom regulatory reporting. The FAM ensures that the end-to-end process delivers on its goals of transformation and process optimization and is responsible for defining, implementing, measuring and improving the automated Axiom reporting process to consistently deliver value. The FAM defines and analyzes operational performance metrics; identifies key opportunities and gaps in the core business processes; ensures application of the appropriate process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to drive improvements; and continues to be an advocate for future operational improvements by partnering with and challenging the business and leadership in system thinking and innovation.
Manages the teams responsible for Nasdaq Controller View configuration and automation of key regulatory filings required to file with bank regulators. Manages a production support team tasked with the development, implementation, and execution of an inventory of preventive and detective data quality edit check rules, along with distribution to applicable lines-of-business and operations data owners for research and remediation.
Organizes the department in an effective way and staff it with personnel with appropriate level of expertise. Sets @context, assigns and monitors work of direct reports; provides performance feedback, training, coaching and mentoring as required in order to maintain a high-performance culture and meet established goals and objectives.
Monitors the execution of a strong production controls framework which includes robust change management, data/file handling controls, reconciliation controls, trending controls, variance analysis and escalation protocol to ensure the accuracy of all regulatory submissions.
Collaborates with leaders across business lines, operations, corporate areas, and technology to ensure the highest quality and most comprehensive data is consistently reported on a timely basis.
Monitors regulatory reporting rulemaking proposals and final rules and collaborates with Regulatory Reporting and Liquidity reporting teams to update configuration and control changes to remain in compliance.
Manages changes to the business rules by ensuring requested changes follow the approval process within the Axiom development team and through relationship management with Finance data and information technology teams to make the required changes.
Coordinates with subject matter experts to create and maintain accurate and complete process documentation, including standard operating procedures, workflows, business rules, reporting data lineage and protocols
Supports delivery of process improvements through conducting data collection and quantitative analysis, opportunity identification and prioritization; develops recommendations; and facilitates the design of new or improved business solutions including process re-engineering and process automation.
Accountable for the successful design, implementation and continuous improvement of Regulatory data automation processes that comply to regulatory guidance and ensure the integrity of financial data
Ensures open communication throughout the organization. This includes keeping stakeholders informed of project updates and ensuring coordination of all process changes, including cross-functional engagement with IT and regulatory Reporting teams
Assumes responsibility for the design and implementation of consistent, reliable measurement of the appropriate metrics and KPIs as needed to benchmark and optimize performance on an ongoing basis

Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree a
7+ years of work experience in the financial services industry
4+ years' experience in finance and data/systems support with Axiom SL
2+ years Axiom supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications
Operational experience with OFSAA FSDF and working knowledge of broader Finance toolsets such as Oracle EPM
In depth knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the regulatory reporting process stream and how these fit into the end-to-end financial process environment.
Experience with Process Ownership

Compensation Range:
92000-189000 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. ?Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. ?In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
