Overview
We are seeking a high performing Director to join our financial institution's coverage team focused on global banks, insurers, asset managers, private capital, fintech and specialty finance institutions. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, relationship-driven environment and wants to deepen their strategic exposure to decision makers across capital markets, risk management and treasury solutions.
The Director will take primary and secondary responsibility for day-to-day coverage of select existing client relationships while driving efficient execution across product opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of established relationships with a focus on proactive engagement, account planning and servicing coordination
Drive wallet retention through frequent dialogue, client needs assessment and identification of cross-sell opportunities
Lead credit and capital allocation for your portfolio, including financial analysis, risk assessment and approvals
Partner with product teams to originate and execute banking and markets solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives
Support strategic growth initiatives with targeted research, pitch development and senior level presentations
Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline and contribute to business planning, forecasting and relationship review materials
Leverage insights from regulatory, tax and accounting developments relevant to financial institutions operating globally
Help mentor junior talent, promoting a high performance and collaborative team culture
Experience and skills
5-7+ years of corporate and investment banking experience with exposure to FIG
Strong working knowledge of bank products and capital solutions geared towards financial services organizations
Exceptional client facing skills, confident communicator able to manage senior level interactions
Proactive relationship orientated mindset- comfortable owning accounts and representing the bank across internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor's degree preferred with outstanding academic credentials; MBA desired.
