SKILLED LABORER - 40+ hours, year-round!

$21-$24/hr

Description:

If you're looking for steady work through the winter and have hands-on construction experience, this is the position for you! A major commercial project in Omaha, NE needs a highly reliable Skilled Laborer to join the team. This role offers variety and the chance to assist with assembling, installing, and maintaining Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB). Work includes cutting, staging, bolting materials, and using a wide range of hand tools in the field. We provide a rapid interview process to get you started quickly!

Responsibilities:

Assist with assembling, installing, and maintaining metal buildings.

Cut, stage, and bolt materials based on blueprints.

Use pry bars, tin snips, pliers, ratchets, spud wrenches, hammers, levels, speed squares, and additional hand tools.

Work from scissor lifts while using all OSHA-required PPE and harnesses.

Maintain a safe and efficient work environment while following project plans and supervisor instructions.

Essential Skills:

2+ years of general construction experience.

Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint basics.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Welding experience (not required).

Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks.

Work Environment:

Field-based work on metal structures.

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gretna, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
