Position Requirements Remarks:The role encompasses Linux system administration with a focus on DevSecOps tooling, including implementing, operating, and maintaining Linux-based GitLab CI/CD platforms. This involves installing and configuring GitLab on Linux systems, regularly updating GitLab and its components, and setting up and managing GitLab runners on both Linux systems and cloud-based VMs and containers. Container and artifact management are key responsibilities, including managing container registries integrated with GitLab, implementing policies for artifact storage and cleanup, and setting up GitLab runners using container images. The position requires troubleshooting pipeline failures and bottlenecks, maintaining GitLab on a disaster recovery failover configuration, and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD using tools like Splunk. Leading the design, build, and evolution of an enterprise DevSecOps platform is a core duty, ensuring secure, scalable, and repeatable solution delivery. This includes ensuring the platform's security and integrity, collaborating with development teams for seamless integration, and developing technical documentation, standards, and guidelines.The role also involves monitoring and analyzing platform performance, developing and implementing security policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
