Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support daily operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Based near Clifton, New Jersey, this long-term contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of the purchasing department and overall administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision.

Responsibilities:

Assist the purchasing department with administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.

Maintain accurate records and ensure all information is organized and up-to-date.

Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow.

Provide general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

Support the onboarding process by facilitating training sessions with the HR department.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative operations.

Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency in administrative processes.

Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs and resolve issues as they arise.

Organize and manage files, both physical and digital, to ensure accessibility and security.

Handle additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.

Requirements - Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a manufacturing setting.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in data entry and working with spreadsheets or databases.

Familiarity with purchasing or procurement processes is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
