Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facility by performing preventive maintenance routines and troubleshooting various equipment.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures.

Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation.

Use appropriate tools to troubleshoot simple AC/DC circuits and perform basic repairs on material handling equipment and other operational equipment as needed.

Maintain positive working relationships across the facility.

Track and manage department inventory.

Move up to 49lbs and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year of experience in basic preventive/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting skills, and repair methods of industrial machines.

1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical basic components.

1 year of experience with compressors and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 year of experience using power tools, including saws and drills, with proper safety precautions.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite and operating systems.

Experience with basic metal and wood fabrication, including saws and drills.

Basic understanding of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, requiring the use of appropriate tooling and equipment. Shifts may last up to 12 hours, and you must be open to working various shifts. The role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.

This is a Contract position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $21.30/hr.
