Your New Role**
The Global Streaming Strategy Team is responsible for the development and execution of the global competitive and content strategy for Max (including HBO) and Discovery+. As part of the larger Streaming and Interactive organization, and specifically within the Streaming Finance and Strategy Organization, this team executes on detailed qualitative and quantitative analyses to help develop and make recommendations for the content strategy for Max (including HBO) and Discovery+.
Your Role Accountabilities
We are looking for an Intern, based in New York City, who will provide strategic support on developing the strategy for WBD's streaming services (Max, including HBO, and Discovery+). Reporting to the Director of Global Streaming Content Strategy, this Intern will work on competitive and content strategy workstreams and projects, including providing insights and recommendations to leadership to influence decision making. These projects include assisting in overall programming investment decisions, enterprise-wide special project initiatives, category or genre-specific initiatives, analyzing content performance and trends, and producing deliverables for senior management. This role requires a high level of collaboration with partners across WBD, and requires supporting relationships across teams and delivering high quality work for the Streaming Organization at Warner Bros Discovery.
Qualifications & Experience

Required: PPT and Excel
Nice to Have: Looker, Tableau, SQL
Must be actively enrolled in a U.S.-accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a 1st year MBA student
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.
What To Know Before Applying:
The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks .
Program date options:
Option 1: June 1 st - August 1 4 th
Option 2: June 8 th - August 2 1 st
Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from mid February through early- April . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

The transaction is expected to close after the separation of Warner Bros. Although you will be hired by Warner Bros. Discovery, upon the planned spin-off of Discovery Global in 2026, your employment likely will transition to Warner Bros.
