Multiple shifts available Overview: Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Registered Nurse for the Joints/Observation unit . This position is ideal for candidates who have experience or interest in postoperative joint surgery care and observation patients. Flexible scheduling!! Registered nurses on this unit enjoy self-scheduling along with the opportunity to obtain medical surgical certification, orthopedic certification, and much more for FREE! Sign on bonus up to $20,000 offered plus relocation assistance if specified criteria is met. Education Associates Degree - Nursing OR Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Upcoming graduates from accredited nursing programs are strongly encouraged to apply! Certification/Licensure Registered Nurse Experience Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required Transition to Practice/Nurse Residency Program This 10-week TTP program focuses on the orientation transition experience with intentional knowledge support and skill acquisition for practice in Medical-Surgical areas. For new graduates, this TTP program is the start of a comprehensive 6-month residency program to support your transition to practice. Program includes:

Formal delivery of fundamental nursing concepts and standards with in-person sessions utilizing case studies, gaming, simulation, and skills labs
Exposure to Sentara policies and evidence-based practice guidelines
Hands-on experience alongside a trained nurse preceptor
Opportunity to share your experiences/ networking with peers in a safe, protected environment
A series of virtual professional development sessions with mentoring (optional for experienced nurses)
