Your Opportunity:
Toro is looking for an Associate Production Planner in Tomah, WI. The Associate Planner is an entry-level position within the Materials Planning team, designed to support seamless material flow and production operations. This role focuses on executing planning tasks under guidance, ensuring inventory levels align with company policies, and resolving supply chain issues to maintain efficient production
This role analyzes SAP reports and screens to firm requirements to sourcing with necessary follow up to verify the purchase order is released in a timely manner. Work with suppliers to manage inventory levels and keep the proper flow of parts to fabrication and assembly areas.

This opportunity is on-site at The Toro Company, in Tomah, WI. Other job locations, hybrid, and/or fully remote is not available at this time.
Associate Production Planner candidates should prepare for 5-days on-site in Tomah, WI for the majority of the schedule.
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm and overtime as required.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Daily Operations & Communication:
Participate in daily Tier meetings to communicate material status
Coordinate with engineering, quality and internal materials teams
Report supply chain problems in a timely manner and work with suppliers to resolve issues
Assists in the issuance of lines down reports
Material Planning & Inventory Management
Develop the material requirements for assigned commodities using all Toro SAP information, planned order and buy information
Participate in critical need activities to support Production Planning
Plan purchase orders and JIT materials within inventory, freight costs
Firm release specifying quantities and delivery dates utilizing the desired inventory level policies. Maintain the A, B, and C policies as prescribed for planning buckets
Ensure material is available to meet production needs
Supplier & Transportation Coordination
Collaborate with the buyer and vendor to resolve all supply issues and ensure timely delivery
Coordinate all transportation activities for assigned commodities, keeping the overall costs within the optimum cost and time parameters. Follow the Tomah/Toro freight policies

HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external customers
Exceptional critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills including MS office products and ability to learn ERP systems
Strong organizational skills and attention
to detail
Demonstrated self-initiative
Strong interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
Work with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks as needed
Preferred?
Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
2-4 years of prior experience with SAP, MS Office, and material planning and/or manufacturing preferred.
Other Job Related Components?
Works directly with the planning team. Works with multiple suppliers. Develop rapport with both the vendor and buyer.
Makes oral and written presentations. Must work with suppliers, sourcing, manufacturing in a professional manner whether on a one-on-one basis or large group situations.
Typical manufacturing plant conditions (indoors, with variable temperature, noise).

Competitive Salary - A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $20.80-$28.00?. Salary will be determined by experience and qualifications, and geography.
