Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

This role involves handling bulk products with weights ranging from 30-100lbs. Responsibilities include reading ingredients, counting bags on pallets, and managing the stacking, sealing, and bagging of products coming off the production line. Additionally, you will be required to dump 50-pound bags into the appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

Read ingredients and count bags on a pallet.

Stack, seal, and bag products as they come off the production line.

Dump 50-pound bags into appropriate equipment.

Essential Skills

General production experience

Ability to lift heavy weights

Experience with bagging and quality control

Familiarity with press machines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work Monday - Thursday, 1st shift 5:45am - 4:15pm or 2nd shift 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Availability for overtime, typically on Fridays

Work Environment

Work in a food production facility specializing in powdered products. The environment may contain floating food particles, requiring the use of safety PPE. Employees will be fully uniformed with safety hats, hair nets, glasses, jackets, pants, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $18.45/hr.
