Cleaning Crew Member - Hilton Head Medical Center

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated housekeepers for three openings on the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm. The role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all spaces are clean, sanitary, and inviting. This is located on Hilton Head Island.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.

Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.

Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.

Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.

Dust and polish furniture and fittings.

Clean metal fixtures and fittings.

Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.

Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and glass surfaces.

Make up beds and change linens.

Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.

Respond to guest queries and requests.

Handle housekeeping problems like spills and broken glasses.

Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Strong customer service skills.

Experience in cleaning, janitorial, and environmental services.

Ability to mop, sweep, and sanitize effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in custodial duties.

Ability to handle housekeeping equipment.

Professionalism in interactions with guests and team members.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilton Head Island, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
