RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Facility Services Director.
Manages and controls supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition.
Responsible for the direction, supervision, evaluation, and overall management of the Storeroom Clerk.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential: Seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting, finger dexterity, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
Continuous: Seeing, hearing, speaking, sitting, lifting weight up to 80 pounds, pushing and pulling weight up to 100 pounds, carrying weight up to 40 pounds.
Operates computer, printer, copier, calculator, and fax.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
General academic background necessary to perform assigned duties, be alert to detail, make necessary calculations, and use proper grammar and spelling.
Business school graduate with appropriate business machine experience and computer literacy preferred.
Valid U.S. driver's license required in accordance with Hawaii state law rules and regulations.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Minimum experience of five (5) years progressive experience with supply processing and distribution in a hospital setting to include purchasing techniques, business ethics and management, inventory techniques, and distribution patterns preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
