This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions ("Diamond Infra") company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.

About you and this role:
Provides front line operations, reliability, and maintenance subject matter expertise to ensure sustained reliable equipment and process operation. Provides technical expertise for operations and maintenance of electrical infrastructure and distribution systems which may impact on the reliability, availability and maintainability of the system and/or equipment. This role requires advanced skills in power distribution and the impact of those activities on production facilities and/or external electrical providers. Requires specialized technical expertise in high voltage electrical switching, distribution, and maintenance. Acts as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others and coordinating with multiple stakeholders and customers.
Responsibilities:
Monitors equipment performance, identifying and correcting negative trends. Escalates in a timely fashion to avoid EH&S or production impact.
Implements missing equipment monitoring capabilities to sustain reliability.
Does simple "5 Why" analysis to address equipment failures and provides experience on failures during formal root cause investigations.
Implements solutions to resolve chronic/repeat failures.
Performs, together with crafts or operators, advanced troubleshooting on equipment issues and repairs.
Coaches crafts and operations personnel on appropriate repair and operations practices respectively.
Assists Turnaround front end loading with job scoping to ensure successful asset renewal and reliability improvement.
Develops operations and maintenance procedures based on Most Effective Technology (MET).
Performs and evaluates Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) and Preventive Predictive Maintenance (PPM) results and recommends appropriate action.
Mentors other operations and maintenance team members in core job responsibilities, common repairs, advanced repairs and advanced diagnostics.
Collaborates with site production facilities on outage windows and plans to avoid and/or minimize customer impact of switching and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, electrical infrastructure, transmission and distribution or other related experience.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any @type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

After employment candidate must obtain certification as an Electrically Skilled Person (ESP). An ESP is an individual who has the knowledge, skills, and certification to: (1) Perform energized electrical work and potentially hazardous electrical switching and (2) work within the Electrical Shock Hazard Distance or the Electrical Arc Flash Hazard Distance of exposed energized electrical parts.
Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:

Work at heights, climbs stairs and ladders.
Wear all required personal protective equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes.
Work in an area of intense or continuous noise.
Work in an area with hazardous materials.
Perform frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
Stand or walk for extended periods of time.
This role does involve elevated work greater than or equal to four feet above the ground.
Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs.

Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Peers, functional support groups (tech center, quality, maintenance, etc.) to accomplish facility goals and resolve day to day challenges associated with their processes of responsibility.
Prioritization: The ability to assess all of the potential areas of focus, and able to prioritize what the organization is in most of need of to meet key deadlines. Focus on urgent when needed, and also ability to be proactive for important/non-urgent activities.
