A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IT Finance Manager

Duration: 3 months
Location: Englewood, CO 80112 (Onsite)
As an IT Finance Manager, you will:
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and accounting support for IT, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
Lead IT financial planning and budgeting processes, including forecasting OPEX, CAPEX, cost allocations, and labor capitalization.
Analyze IT spending to identify cost?saving opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and support vendor/contract evaluations.
Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for IT and senior leadership; track financial performance of IT initiatives.
Partner with IT leaders to build financial forecasts and develop business cases/ROI models for major technology investments.
Lead FinOps initiatives to drive cloud financial accountability, optimize cloud consumption, and enhance tagging/governance.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX).
Serve as a key liaison between Finance and IT and collaborate across business units to align financial strategy with IT goals.
Manage and develop a team of finance professionals supporting IT operations.
Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and improve financial visibility, including cloud and telecom reporting.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong accounting foundation, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and knowledge of US GAAP.
5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably with 2-4 years in public accounting (Big 4 or Tier 2).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; graduate degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience.
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to tools such as OneStream, ServiceNow, or Oracle Financials.
Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with cross?functional teams.
Curiosity, strong analytical skills, and a strategic mindset with experience improving financial processes.
Ability to work with complex financial concepts (capex, accruals, allocations, forecasting) and present information confidently.
Comfortable working in fast?paced environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60-$65 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
