Job Description

An employer is looking for a highly skilled Raw Materials HPLC Scientist 1 to join one of our largest national life sciences clients on their raw materials lab for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you'll work to test raw materials that will be used in drug tablets; such as the raw materials used to create acetaminophen tablets our department tests the raw acetaminophen and inert fillers such as microcrystalline cellulose prior to these materials being assembled to a finished product. You will also be doing verification testing once the drugs are assembled. In order to be successful on this team you must have a degree in chemistry, microbiology or biology, and have 3-5 years of professional lab experience. You also must have a solid background in GMP specific to raw materials, and prior experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab or within a pharmaceutical contracted lab. You must also have hands on experience with HPLC in order to be successful on this team.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Science in chemistry, microbiology or biology

3-5 years of professional lab experience

GMP background - unique to raw materials

Chromatography experience - LC, GC or both

Specifically experience with GCFID, VWD or RID

Compendial (USP/NF or EP) styles testing experience

Familiarity with Empower

Prior experience working within a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory setting

Ability to commute to their Lebanon, NJ location and be on site 5 days/week
