Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team for the busy tax season. In this temporary role, you will support daily office operations, assist with the preparation and filing of tax-related documents, and ensure timely communication between staff and clients. This contract position last until the middle of April during the tax season.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for accountants and tax professionals

Greet clients and provide excellent customer service in person and by phone

Prepare, organize, scan, and file tax documents and forms

Assist with data entry, ensuring accuracy of financial information

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client materials with discretion

Support office supply management and other administrative tasks as needed

Help with scanning, copying, and distributing tax materials

Requirements

1+ years of office support experience, preferably in finance, accounting, or tax services

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail and ability to uphold confidentiality standards

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tax software is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience supporting a tax office or accounting firm during tax season

Knowledge of common tax forms and filing procedures is preferred.
