Overview
What we're looking for : An Account Executive for MSL's Consumer Brands practice in New York City.
What you provide: The ideal candidate has 2+ years of proven success in PR communications and hands-on experience in consumer marketing, particularly in implementing earned and influencer programs for leading brands. You bring strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate seamlessly in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering meaningful, culturally relevant work that drives impact for clients.
What you'll do: As part of our growing Consumer Brands Practice, you'll support the development and execution of PR plans and lead day-to-day account activities for iconic consumer brands. You'll work closely with integrated teams across the network to bring innovative, insights-driven ideas to life - moving the needle for our clients and shaping the conversations that matter.

Responsibilities
Implement creative, strategic PR programs that compel consumers to action, driving strong earned coverage and meaningful business results.
Develop high-quality media materials including pitch letters, press releases, fact sheets, and bios, that capture attention and support compelling storytelling.
Build and maintain relationships with editors, reporters, and producers to proactively pitch and secure placements across consumer media.
Leverage traditional earned tactics as well as digital/emerging technologies to enhance PR programming
Contribute to delivering programs on time and on budget, ensuring consistency, quality, and clear communication across all workstreams.
Conduct traditional and social media monitoring; synthesize findings into client-ready reports and actionable insights.
Participate in regular internal and client meetings; prepare supporting materials such as agendas, trackers, timelines, and recaps to ensure efficient collaboration.
Manage daily assignments to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
Support client budget tracking and billing
Support campaign measurement and reporting
Monitoring and analysis of media, cultural, and industry trends to inform client counsel and team development
Qualifications
2+ years' experience in public relations or public affairs at an agency
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to collaborate on cross-functional/multi-disciplinary teams balanced with ability to work independently to advance projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build positive, effective relationships with external third parties and vendors
Practical approach to assigned projects
Appreciation for, and interest in, relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
A strong interest in and understanding of consumer and media trends
Passion for contributing to positive working relationships with colleagues within the agency and across the network
Attention to detail to facilitate responsible budget management, campaign tracking/reporting and material development
Ability to multi-task and proven success maintaining high quality work in quick paced environment

Compensation Range: $50,065 - $73,944 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
