As a Security Officer - Factory Entry Screening in Brookwood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy industrial location in an access control role where you will greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, manage entry logs and badges, and coordinate with site teams on deliveries and contractor access. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine checks of assigned areas, and document and communicate security-related activity with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while delivering a customer-first experience.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Operate an access control post by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary credentials, and controlling vehicle and pedestrian entry and exit.

Monitor entry points and surrounding areas using cameras and/or access control systems, reporting unusual activity and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.

Complete required reports such as access logs, incident reports, and shift activity logs, and communicate key information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
