Job Responsibilities
The Talen Energy Supply Chain organization has an opening for an Analyst. This position supports Talen's fleet of plants. The primary work location is preferred to be Allentown with potential for a hybrid remote arrangement. This will be determined based on the selected candidate, their place of residence and the operational needs of the division.
The purpose of this job is to analyze processes, systems, and data for various departments and workstreams. Working directly with internal customers at all levels of the organizations to provide reporting, system and process oversight, data analytics, and training.
Essential Functions
Manage prevailing wage contracts and reporting
Assists with SOX controls and annual audits
Analyze procure to pay processes, data and transactions
Assist with system enhancement testing, process development, provide user support and training.
Manage the vendor safety onboarding process
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Must be able to interpret internal or external business needs and recommend solutions/best practices.
Ability to solve complex problems.
Must be able to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
Must embody the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
Deep proven knowledge of computer software with strong working knowledge and aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications and databases, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
Strong analytical skills.
Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-assessment and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service focus, with ability to build credibility with internal clients and external suppliers.
Collaborative work style across groups
Experience in any of the following systems, MicroStrategy, Maximo and Asset Suite or alternate EAM System and reporting software.
Location
Allentown preferred with potential for a hybrid remote arrangement. This will be determined based on the selected candidate, their place of residence and the operational needs of the division.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
Intermittent travel possible up to 10% when applicable.
