We have an exciting opportunity to join the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Effectors CM, Data Management and Sensors CM.

The Sensors CM Department is looking for an Intern to support configuration management activities in such areas as change coordination, release activity and helping to manage configuration control boards.

This position is an Onsite role, where you will be working primarily in Andover, Massachusetts.

What You Will Do

Coordination of Configuration Documentation, Change Requests, Initial Release establishing configuration baseline / Changes to the Configuration baseline, ensuring Status Accounting Integrity maintenance of the technical data package.

Participation in control / administration in the review/disposition of Configuration documentation and changes to the established configuration baseline.

Ensure integrity of the Configuration Documentation supporting the reviewers (engineering, quality, support, manufacturing), and that customer requirements are implemented.

Qualifications You Must Have

This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their sophomore year by the start of summer 2026

Must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree

Qualifications We Prefer

3.0 cumulative GPA desired.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
