Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Buyer!

What You'll Do:

Purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures.

Negotiate, award and administer procurement actions for commercial and Government-funded requirements.

Supports compliance with DFARS requirements, CPSR readiness, strategic small business reporting, and documentation of procurement packages in accordance with defense acquisition regulations.

Manages diverse procurement activities including capital equipment, software licenses, BPAs, services, maintenance, repairs, construction, chemicals, electronics, machined parts, semiconductors, and hardware built to Teledyne/Government specifications.

Provides program, planning, and proposal support, maintaining supplier status updates and frequently utilizing ERP systems; Deltek Costpoint experience a plus.

What You Need:

Familiarity with purchasing concepts and must be comfortable negotiating price and other terms and conditions

Ability to work in a high volume/pressure environment with demanding deadlines and make complex business decision with minimal supervision.

Ability to interface with vendors and internal customers with patience, diplomacy and tact

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Basic computer proficiency using Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business desired with 5-10 years of experience.

U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions

Salary Range:

$77,900.00-$103,800.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and @type of position.
