Become a Supply Chain Warehouse/Transportation Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll be responsible for supporting Material Transportation and day-to-day supply chain operations. This role works within the company's systems of record including: SAP/EWM, Ariba, Supplier Network Collaboration, IGAM, SharePoint, Samsara, WebEOC, and Microsoft Excel, to perform data analytics and data mining, as well as monitoring and supporting cross-dock activities.

Responsibilities
Monitors and reports on supply chain project requirements, including material supply, transportation, and discrepancies, and ?eld laydown yards, to support operational performance and decision-making.
Collaborates with key supply chain and procurement stakeholders to support material planning and prioritization activities, working closely with teams to source and expedite critical materials.
Maintains data integrity and reporting for key metrics (e.g., materials movement and handling time/e?ciency, loss reporting, stock levels, and safety incident performance) to track operational performance and evaluate potential risks.
Conducts root cause analysis of performance issues and proposes initiatives to optimize operational activities, driving continuous improvement and cost savings.
Provides strategic recommendations and reports to management throughout the supply chain and procurement teams to support informed decision-making and align with organizational goals. Leverages expertise in data and cost analysis to monitor and track the performance of operations, identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and develop actionable insights to drive operational excellence.
Works directly with various suppliers at tactical levels to maintain e?ective supplier relationships, fostering open communication, collaboration, and mutual success.
Identi?es and implements supplier performance goals related leveraging data-driven insights to drive improvements.
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, ?nancial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, con?dential medical records, and other @types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management, and process optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience in transportation, including coordination with contractors, as well as parcel and freight carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and LTL/Freight companies.
Experience within the utility industry.
Project management experience, including managing cost, scope, and resources.
Experience overseeing suppliers and leading formal planning, tracking, and performance reporting.
Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean principles.
Experience supporting development, management, and implementation of safety programs, processes, and safety culture initiatives to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT, OSHA, Federal Highway standards, and California Commercial Vehicle regulations.
Experience using Ariba or similar procurement platforms.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management, including freight forwarders, ocean carriers, barges, and crane services.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and all levels of management to develop solutions and drive alignment.
Ability to adhere to Edison safety protocols and principles while actively demonstrating personal engagement as a safety leader.
Strong ethical standards, leadership, influence, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage stress and pursue continuous learning.
Additional Information
This position's work mode is on-site. The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

Position will require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
