Independent Contract Nurse

**HealthSource Saginaw (HSS) is looking for licensed Registered Nurses to work under independent self-employed contract.

Type:** Full-time or Part-time positions - you choose the commitment that works with your schedule

Shift: Day Shift 7am -- 7:30 pm, Night Shift 7pm -- 7:30 am

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan

Current BLS CPR certification - provided during orientation if needed

Detail oriented, flexible, helpful, patient, responsible, sincere and compassionate

Summary

Must supply self with needed benefits and make all appropriate tax, social security, Medicare and other withholding payments as required.

Hospital does not provide worker's compensation insurance coverage nor make any unemployment tax payments.

Required to submit invoice of hours worked every two weeks for payment.

Must maintain (at sole expense) valid policies of insurance evidencing general and professional liability coverage of not less than $1,000,000/occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate.
