The Ford Motor Credit Company ("Ford Credit") has received the regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank("the Bank") to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, EV Infrastructure and software and will accept deposits with competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Credit, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company ("Ford").

The proposed Bank will be a strategic addition to Ford Credit and is key to providing the capabilities needed to meet the financing expectations of Ford customers. In This Position:
The Deposit Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Deposit and plays a key leadership role in executing the operational strategy for the bank's deposit products and services. This position is responsible for the effective management and daily oversight of specific functions within Deposit Operations, ensuring efficient and accurate processing, adherence to regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of workflows. The Manager will lead and develop a team of operational professionals, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure that deposit operations effectively support the bank's customer service goals and overall operational integrity.
What you'll do...
Operational Management & Execution :
Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of specific Deposit Operations functions (e.g., Account Servicing, Transaction Processing, Reconciliations, or a combination).
Ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of deposit-related transactions, account maintenance, and exception handling.
Implement operational strategies and initiatives as directed by the Director of Deposit Operations.
Monitor operational performance against established KPIs and service level agreements, proactively addressing deviations.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, team leads, and/or operational specialists.
Foster a high-performance culture, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development needs for team members.
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
Risk Management & Compliance Adherence:
Ensure all operational processes and team activities strictly comply with banking laws, regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg CC), internal policies, and procedures.
Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate operational risks, prevent fraud, and minimize errors.
Assist in preparing for and responding to internal audits, external examinations, and compliance reviews.
Identify and escalate potential compliance breaches or significant operational risks to the Director of Deposit Operations.
Process Improvement & Technology Implementation:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within assigned operational areas.
Lead and participate in projects aimed at streamlining workflows, implementing automation, and optimizing operational tools and systems.
Collaborate with IT and other departments on the testing and implementation of new technologies or system upgrades affecting deposit operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal partners such as IT, Risk, Compliance, Branch Operations, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues and support bank-wide initiatives.
Provide operational expertise and support for new product launches or changes affecting deposit processes.

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related quantitative field
Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in banking operations, with at least 3-5 years specifically dedicated to senior management roles within?deposit operations
Strong knowledge of deposit products, services and operational workflows
Deep and comprehensive expertise in banking regulations and compliance requirements specifically related to deposit accounts and all payment @types (ACH, Wires, Checks).
High level of flexibility, responsibility, and attention to detail
Strong decision making, analytical and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups and/or Boards of Directors
Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value varied perspectives
