Medical Technologist (Night Shift)

Location: Brooksville, FL

Position Type: Full-Time

Relocation: Case-by-Case Assistance Available

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Medical Technologist to join a premier laboratory team in Brooksville. In this role, you will perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. You will be expected to use independent judgment and theoretical knowledge to ensure accurate, timely results in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Incentives

Hourly Rate: $27.09 - $37.92/hr (Based on experience).

Sign-On Bonus: * $10,000 for Night Shift

$5,000 for Day Shift

Shift Differentials: * Nights: +$ 2.50/hr

On-Call: +$ 2.00/hr

Schedule

Primary Shift: 3rd Shift (Nights)

Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Flexibility: Options for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate diagnostic testing in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology.

Execute quality control procedures and take corrective action when results fall outside parameters.

Operate and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment and information systems.

Review pending logs (OSR) and ensure seamless communication during shift handoffs.

Assist with regulatory compliance (CAP, etc.) and maintain all necessary documentation.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Medical Technologist required .

Education: 2-Year/Associate Degree required (4-Year/Bachelor's in Medical Technology preferred).

Licensure: Active State of Florida Technologist License is required .

Skills: Proficiency in specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.

Pay Details: $27.09 to $37.92 per hour
