As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Rounds in Mount Vernon, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and customers with a service-first mindset, communicate clearly, and document observations and concerns. Pay Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests and employees by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a financial services location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by site policy, and direct visitors to the appropriate location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, disturbances, and medical situations, and request assistance as needed.

Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
