Have Heating & Cooling Ashtabula, OH Accounting Manager Overview HAVE Heating & Cooling, established in 1975, serves a wide range of industrial, commercial, and residential needs in several Northeastern Ohio counties. We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department's operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Duties

Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations

Conduct bank reconciliations, credit card statement reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations to maintain precise financial records

Process weekly payroll, file and pay all payroll related taxes

Skills

Proficiency in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation

Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and general ledger reconciliation techniques

Performs all task with a high level of accuracy with attention to detail

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with meeting deadlines

Knowledge of job costing a plus
