The Role
As an Analyst in Accounting, Finance & Hotel Analytics, you will support financial performance across the Americas through analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and operational insights. This role reports to the Regional Manager of Hotel Analytics and provides support to the Accounting team for an assigned Region.
-Support forecasting, budgeting, and owner reporting by performing monthly financial analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
-Prepare ad hoc analyses to support organizational inquiries
-Collaborate with multiple corporate, regional, operations, and FP&A teams
-Interpret financial and operational performance indicators to generate insights and communicate financial results
-Basic accounting tasks, including but not limited to: Daily Income Journals, Month-End P&L review, monthly reconciliation review; these tasks will comprise roughly 50% of the position
-Support Regional and Owners' performance reviews and strategic financial initiatives
-Adopt and utilize Hyatt Ways of Working
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
-Curious problem solver who continuously seeks to learn, ask questions, and approach problems with creativity and logic
-Clear and confident communicator-both in writing and speaking-across different levels of the organization and with external contacts
-Organized and proactive competencies with the ability to own and prioritize assigned tasks
Experience Preferred:
-Hospitality experience preferred
-Intermediate Excel skills
-Financial ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, or related field
-Internship or similar experience in accounting, finance, or business

The pay range for this position is $35.28 - 38.46/hour.
The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
