Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Office in Boston MA

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security/Law Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering great customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of roadways, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed.

Observe, document, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations using required logs and reporting tools, escalating issues through the chain of command.

Support access control activities when assigned, including verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor entry, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public agencies as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
