THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this critical position, you will conduct formal psychiatric evaluations and assess all psychiatric diagnoses. Your responsibilities will include reviewing patient documents, evaluating medications, and making necessary adjustments to ensure each patient receives appropriate psychopharmacological treatment. Additionally, you will lead the treatment team and oversee the development and execution of individualized treatment plans. It will be essential to maintain accurate documentation, provide leadership to interdisciplinary staff to ensure daily active treatment programs, and evaluate discharge planning while tracking each patients progress toward community reintegration.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Overtime as needed, and work hours may change based on operational needs
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Completion of a residency or training program in psychiatry which meets the certification requirements of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
Special Requirement:
This position requires the p ossession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Board of Medical Education and Licensure, or the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
