What's a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician 1? You'll be:
Operates and monitors production equipment following detailed process specifications.
Ensures high-quality output and maintains production efficiency across assigned workstations.
Logs machine performance and communicates issues to supervisors and technicians.
Adheres to all safety standards and promptly reports workplace hazards.
Monitors SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts and responds to process deviations.
Assists in troubleshooting equipment issues, tool recovery, and failed qualifications.
Processes engineering targets, SWRs, and performs other technical tasks as required.
Collects and documents production data accurately using computer-based systems.
Maintains a clean and organized workstation aligned with 6S methodology.
Identifies and recommends improvements for process efficiency, safety, and quality.
Completes required training, certifications, and contributes to continuous improvement.
Provides detailed end-of-shift pass downs to ensure smooth shift transitions.
Follows proper lifting and ergonomic practices to maintain safety and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or related technical work.
Willing to work 12-hour night shifts (Wednesday-Friday, alternating Saturday).
Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing hands-on tasks.
Proficient with basic computer operations for data logging and documentation.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, safety, and accuracy.
Able to follow established procedures and process specifications.
Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork in a production environment.
Shows a positive, adaptable attitude toward learning and continuous improvement.
