As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage badge access, and verify credentials at entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or turnstiles by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; report suspicious or unusual activity and complete security-related documentation per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuation, shelter-in-place, and/or medical response notifications as directed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as production spaces, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Access Control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
