Job Summary
The Supply Chain Operations Systems Manager serves as the primary functional and technical owner overseeing the maintenance, support, design, feasibility analysis, and implementation of the Warehouse Management Systems supporting Guest Worldwide's distribution network.
The position oversees related systems integration enhancements, supports the investigation of transactional issues, seeks root causes and develops timely technical and process solutions.
Leveraging strong inter-departmental relationships, the role supports Supply Systems training to ensure colleagues have the capabilities needed to effectively perform their functions and support Guest Worldwide's customers and business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Technical System Management
Serves as Subject Matter Expert and primary technical support for Supply Chain Systems (WMS, TMS, LMS)
Ensures operational system integrity through setup, configuration, code promotion, and control processes
Monitors system performance, performs maintenance and backups as needed
Serves as project lead for systems implementations and leads User Acceptance Testing
Cross-functional Collaboration
Interfaces with Operations staff to review procedures and maximize efficiencies
Coordinates with Information Technology to resolve upstream/downstream systems issues
Provides regular communication to Operations and internal departments on operational matters
Establishes root cause analysis and manages technical resolution pipeline
Analysis & Innovation
Designs and develops tools for analyzing operational activities
Conducts feasibility analysis on processes and equipment
Calculates cost/benefit and business impact and proposes solutions
Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems
Identifies areas for improving service levels, reducing costs, and enhancing operations
Documentation & Training
Develops standardized and ad hoc reporting for site, management and customers
Serves as site expert on WMS logic and functionality
Trains Operations team on using WMS and related systems
Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in: Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is preferred.
6 years with exceptional Tier-1 Warehouse Management Systems experience (High Jump preferred)
2-4 years' experience working with ERP technical functionality (Microsoft Dynamics Preferred)
Systems implementation and systems project management experience preferred.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Distribution Operations, Procurement, and Transportation. Understanding of Sysco's key business metrics and systems - preferred.
Strong analytical and technology skills in using productivity, performance and other related data. In particular, proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Peoplesoft) and advanced Excel skills are required.
A mastery of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities, as necessary. Able to manage and present large, complex projects.
