As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Driver in Williamsburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas and back-of-house spaces, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver welcoming customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting a caring, people-first team culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and policy concerns.

Monitor access points and guest traffic patterns, assist with directions and information, and help maintain orderly entry and exit during peak arrival and departure periods.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical situations, and/or fire and alarm activations, and coordinate with on-site management and local responders as needed.

Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate shift updates to the site supervisor and/or management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
