Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team.

We continue to grow in our Moosic, PA and Wilkes-Barre, PA sites, as well as have plans to expand beyond. This position is in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Various programs include: Parkinson's rehab, Pelvic Rehab, peds, ortho, lymphedema, fitness, vestibular, blood flow restriction, outpatient in the home program.

Duties

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.

Conduct therapy sessions focusing on rehabilitation techniques for various conditions, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.

Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, care plans, and home exercise strategies.

Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment in accordance with clinic standards.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology is essential.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required.
