JOB DETAILS:Locations:Austin, TX; Boxborough, MA; Fort Collins, CO; Longmont, CO; Fishkill, NY; or Rochester, NYOnsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern termDuration:Summer/Fall Co-op: May 18, 2026 - December 11, 2026 or June 22, 2026 - December 11, 2026Summer Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 or June 22, 2026 - September 11, 2026Fall Internship: September 14, 2026 - December 11, 2026WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Do you want to help improve experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op and in this role:You will collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD's discrete and embedded hardware products.We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:You are currently enrolled in a US based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field.If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply -C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.ASIC design and verification.ML and AI.System/Board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, power design.Hardware automation, validation and test.UNIX and JTAG tools.Pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.Computer architecture, CPU & GPU architecture.Note: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
