We're looking for a Housing Finance Specialist 1, 2, or 3 to join our team. If you are knowledgeable of MS Office and are proficient in writing, analyzing financial reports, and interpreting policies, and cost principles that govern the LIHEAP Program, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in housing finance or compliance programs, housing management, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
*Review and process LIHEAP payment requisitions from Subgrantees timely.
*Tracks and monitors disallowed costs for LHC Energy Subgrantees.
*Assure that Subgrantees are in compliance with federal and state policies and procedures by review and analysis of services, performance, and projections of expenditures and meeting the energy program's objectives.
*Evaluate and process cost allocation plans/budgets/budgets revisions to ensure compliance with acceptable budgeting and accounting principles, as well as program policies and cost principles.
*Notify Utility Vendors and Subgrantees of distributed payments.
*Respond timely to Subgrantees and client issues, questions, and complaints.
*Participate in appeals by clients and/or Subgrantees and represent LHC at hearings.
