PRN Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LPN) - Glendive Medical Center
Location: On-site | 202 Prospect Dr, Glendive, MT 59330 | Acute Care Department Employment Type: PRN, Non-exempt, hourly (bi-weekly pay)
Minimum Commitment: To maintain PRN status, employees must work at least five (5) shifts every three (3) months, including:
One (1) weekend shift per quarter
One (1) holiday shift per year

Overview
We are seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) and PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple inpatient and outpatient settings.
This role is ideal for nurses seeking schedule flexibility, exposure to broad clinical experiences, and a supportive rural healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
Provide patient-centered nursing care across multiple clinical areas, including Medical/Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, ER, ICU, Transitional Care, and Behavioral Health
Perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families and promote safe, quality outcomes
LPNs practice under the supervision of an RN
What We're Looking For
Active Montana RN or LPN license (or compact license with multi-state privileges)
BLS certification required
Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
Previous nursing experience preferred (new grads considered)
Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
Certifications (Preferred / May Be Obtained After Hire) - ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP
Physical Requirements
Ability to ambulate without assistance and respond quickly in emergency situations, including navigating stairs and corridors
Physically capable of performing CPR
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
Ability to lift, move, and reposition patients of all sizes using proper body mechanics and/or approved equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Ability to tolerate physical and emotional demands in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Exposure to conditions common in a hospital setting, including communicable diseases, body fluids, toxic substances, and ionizing radiation
Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
