Our client, a dynamic organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the planning and production support team, assisting with various administrative tasks that keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Salem, VA

Pay Range:$18.00

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

Preparing, updating, and distributing essential documents such as schedules, reports, work orders, and job packs.

Performing data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, and updating production trackers to ensure accurate records.

Managing employee timekeeping and personnel files to support HR and payroll processes.

Supporting planning and production teams by providing necessary information and resources.

Monitoring production progress, deadlines, and workflow efficiency to meet organizational goals.

What's Needed?

Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication (written/verbal) skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Previous administrative or production support experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Background check and urine drug screen required.
