Infusion Registered Nurse

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse for our client in Brewster, NY !

Type: 3-month contract, with potential for extension

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm

Pay: $38 to $40/hr

Location: Onsite in Brewster, NY

Responsibilities of the Infusion RN:

· Provide direct nursing care to patients receiving IV and subcutaneous infusion therapies.

· Performs pre-infusion patient assessments; initiates and maintains IVs and central lines access

· Administers and monitors chemotherapy, biologic therapies, and subcutaneous medications; monitors for and manages adverse reactions

· Documents all care in the electronic medical record (Epic)

· Provides patient education r/t infusion treatments

· Collaborates with providers and team members, and maintains a safe, clean and compliant infusion environment.

Qualifications for the Infusion RN:

· Associate's degree

· Active RN license in New York.

· Previous nursing experience required; oncology or infusion experience preferred

· IV insertion experience required.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
