The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The Sr. Director, Strategic Finance, GTM Growth & Performance leads a global team that is focused on the LinkedIn Talent Solutions business, partnering with both the Sales and the Marketing organizations. This individual and their team are responsible for managing the performance of the business for both weekly forecasting as well as long range financial planning, devising and shepherding new opportunities to accelerate growth, and driving the strategy and direction of our GTM motions along with x-functional senior leaders. This role requires someone who excels in looking beyond the problems in front of them, synthesizing complex ideas, bringing executives together for a common purpose, and inspiring their teams and their partners.
This role will report to LinkedIn's VP of Strategic Finance for the LinkedIn Talent Solutions business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinking
Identifies new opportunities for growth, makes novel recommendations at the enterprise level, and drives strategy development across functions/lines of business/organizations.
Ensures pressure testing of growth opportunities and consideration of trade-offs and implications in the @context of LinkedIn overall.
Serves as a thought leader, providing novel and innovative ideas, driving the development of plans for execution.
Leverages collaborative relationships across LinkedIn to develop a deep understanding of opportunities across LinkedIn.
Stakeholder Influence
Provides thought leadership and communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and necessary @context to executives and senior leadership to shape the direction of the company.
Leverages insights, data, internal/external trends, and narratives to influence organizational strategy development.
Drives alignment by synthesizing problems and communicates point of view to support decision-making on company-wide strategic issues.
Execution & Organization
Provides guidance and expertise to executive leadership to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics-oriented perspective through a cross-enterprise lens.
Serves as a resource for executives and senior leaders across LinkedIn to answer a wide variety of complex questions.
Oversees and drives the development of multiple large and complex workstreams, projects, or operational processes that span across multiple organizations.
Proactively identifies obstacles based on company, market, and ecosystem knowledge and anticipates the need to evolve strategies.
Performance Management
Drives performance management, including the creation, maintenance, and updating of models and forecasts.
Reviews forecasts, analyzes risks and opportunities, and anticipates effects of internal/external metrics trends on cross-company strategy and initiatives.
Provides guidance and advises on best practices for developing hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks.
Identifies data gaps and works with partners to deliver data architecture used to execute ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address business questions.
Partners with cross-functional teams to drive strategy development and create opportunities to close gaps.
Culture & Values
Proactively shapes the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Drives coaching and the use of best practices in feedback and performance management.
Fosters opportunities for people development, movement and transformation across the organization.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
12+ years in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
6+ years leading and managing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to develop close partnerships across Sales and Marketing to drive GTM strategy, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, translating complex financial models, performance insights, and market signals into clear recommendations that shape enterprise strategy and investment decisions.
9+ years of people management, with a proven builder mindset and a strong record of leading and developing high-performing, multi-layered teams.

The pay range for this role is $209,000-$340,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
