The Long-Range Precision Fires (LRPF) portfolio is seeking an Associate Director to serve as the LRPF International Capture Program Manager within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Mission Area. You will report directly to the LRPF Portfolio Director. You will be responsible for all international Excalibur, DeepStrike and DeepFires Weapon system capture efforts.
You will be responsible for leading all aspects of program capture strategies, program shaping, demonstration exercises, and executing contractual requirements while leading the cross functional execution team.
What You Will Do
Primary customer interface and Manages execution of initial phases of business captures (demonstrations, studies, initial proto@type development, etc.) enabling follow-on business and transition to development programs teams
Capture manager securing international launch customer(s) for Excalibur S, Excalibur N5, Extended Range Artillery Projectile, DeepStrike and DeepFires Weapon systems
Manage execution of initial phases of business captures (demonstrations, studies, initial proto@type development, etc.) enabling follow-on business and transition to development programs teams
Explore, codify and advance projects within Long Range Precision fires in close collaboration with the Land component of the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business unit
Lead internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include, Gate, Color Teams & Strategy Reviews, contract negotiation/definitization & start-up efforts
Provide day-to-day leadership of cross-functional pursuit teams. This includes ongoing leadership and communications to ensure all team members are aligned and accountable to achieving bookings forecasts
Propose, monitor, and prioritize NBI (New Business Initiative) yearly budgets and expenditures in accordance with program pursuits and AOP & LRP commitments
Expected to support travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience is required
International capture or program management experience
Experience with Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, and/or export authorizations
Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals
Experience in any of the following: competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, color teams, gates and/or price-to-win analysis.
Qualifications We Prefer
Long Range Precision Fires related military service/experience
5-7 years of capture/business development leadership with proven success in capturing new business; Capture Manager certification.
In-depth knowledge of cannon artillery and/or mortars weapons platforms/system, projectiles, munitions and/or customer's employment tactics, techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of the US Army's and US Marine Corps' long range precision fires modernization plans.
Proficiency with the RMD Program Management tool suite or similar program management systems.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
