Internship Details
Duration: 12 weeks, full-time
Dates of Internship: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026
Location: Remote (US)
Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
Eligibility: Preferred candidates are post graduate Masters or PHD students who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:
The Labcorp Artificial Intelligence team has pioneered real-time API integrations for model inference, deployed solutions leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning models, and continually brings advanced AI capabilities into practice to improve patient outcomes and business operations.
Internship Assignment Summary:
Machine Learning Model Development & Deployment : Design, develop, and deploy production-ready machine learning models through real-time API integrations, contributing to enterprise-scale AI solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare delivery across Labcorp's global diagnostic operations.
Generative AI Application & Innovation : Apply cutting-edge Generative AI techniques to solve complex healthcare and business challenges, working alongside experienced data scientists to implement state-of-the-art AI capabilities that enhance diagnostic workflows and operational efficiency.
End-to-End AI Solution Implementation : Participate in the full lifecycle of AI solution delivery-from data exploration and model development to integration, testing, and monitoring-while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-level machine learning infrastructure and best practices in a healthcare setting.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Working towards postgraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field
Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
Completed coursework in machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis, applying learned concepts in real-world scenarios
Experience in programming languages including Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership

Pay Range: $35-$40
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
