The Role
The Construction Superintendent will monitor projects from planning, scheduling, and commissioning to close of project. They will be directly responsible for the safe execution of construction projects in accordance with regulatory and internal site requirements, policies, and procedures.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Collaborate with engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other construction representatives to determine project needs.
Accountable for construction phase of all projects from pre-construction review through project close out. Serves as primary intermediary between FUJIFILM and contractors.
Coordinate with project team members including FUJIFILM employees, contractors, and vendors. Provide daily direction to construction tasks and activities.
Supervise construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed consistent within the established design, budget and schedule framework.
Perform daily scheduling and planning activities to ensure materials, equipment and personnel are available to complete tasks to meet schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in construction management or similar field; or 10 years of experience as a construction superintendent in a manufacturing / industrial environment; or 10 years of experience in facility maintenance with journeyman trade.
Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
Knowledge of local/facility quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction/facility job sites.
In-depth understanding of construction and operations and processes.
Familiarity with CAD or BIM software, Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Familiarity with Procore preferred.
Organizational and time-management skills, Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Ability to operate mobile equipment (forklift, scissor lift, etc.), Ability to lead.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
