Job Title: CNC Operator - Entry Level

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Operator where you will be operating mills, primarily working with aluminum materials. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to get their foot in the door with CNC operations and learn to do setups down the road. You will begin by tapping holes, assisting in cutting metals when necessary, and eventually progress to operating CNC machines.

Responsibilities

Operate mills and work with aluminum materials.

Start by tapping holes and assist in cutting metals as needed.

Load and unload materials as part of daily tasks.

Perform occasional sanding tasks.

Work towards operating CNC machines as skills develop.

Essential Skills

Ability to stand on feet for extended periods.

Capability to handle a loud machine shop environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Interest in learning CNC operations.

Willingness to work in a production and machine operating environment.

Work Environment

Work in a machine shop environment located at a newer facility on Norex Drive. The shop is loud, but it is clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable setting for production work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.27 - $20.27/hr.
